Assessment Strategy

Assessment within the programme is based on a competency-based professional evaluation model, combining formative and summative assessment methods.

Student performance is evaluated throughout each module through interactive attendance, participation in case discussions, and completion of applied clinical assignments during teaching sessions.

At the end of each module, students undertake a professional practical assessment conducted by an assessment panel consisting of three members: the module instructor and two additional academic or professional assessors.

Students are organized into small groups of four, each group preparing and presenting a structured applied clinical case for discussion and evaluation by the panel.

Assessment weighting for each module is distributed as follows:

  • 50% for continuous assessment (attendance, participation, and applied assignments)
  • 50% for the final professional case presentation and panel discussion

This assessment process is implemented for each module at the end of every academic term.

Final Programme Assessment

Upon completion of all modules, students are required to undertake a final individual applied clinical assessment.

This assessment consists of an individual professional case discussion conducted before an evaluation panel. The assessment focuses on the student’s ability to demonstrate clinical formulation, ethical reasoning, application of psychological models, and reflective professional judgment within defined professional boundaries.

This final assessment does not constitute a licensing examination and does not confer eligibility for independent clinical practice.
